So, let's dive straight into it, shall we?
Intermediate Variation #1
2. Pull your inside leg towards your face by grabbing onto the calf with your outside hand.
3. Squeeze the pole in your inside armpit by creating "glute shelf" with your inside arm. See photo of the next variation for a clearer shot of the glute shelf.
4. Unhook the outside leg and create a pike position with both legs.
Intermediate Variation #2
Advanced: Jade Split
1. Enter the Jade Pike.
2. While pulling your inside leg towards your face, push your outside leg all the way back into an active split. The pole should really be pushing into your inside inner thigh and side body. Engage your back glute to stretch your outside hip flexor as much as possible.
